Thanksgiving in St. George

We had a great time in St. George for Thanksgiving at my parents house--this is Vince writing. It was nice to get away, enjoy some great food, watch some good football, and be with awesome family.

The weather was great! We got to go outside and breath the nice air. St. George weather is just about perfect around Thanksgiving so it was nice to be outside!! Allie's birthday is on Dec. 10th and her cousin Abe's is on the 2nd so we decided to have a combined party while we were down there. It was a good time.Allie was a little bit shy about digging into the cake. I think my dad jokingly suggested that someone give her a fork. We laughed.


Aparrently the fork was really a good idea. Allie grabbed it and started eating with it.

Jill's parents bought a winter home in St. George so they were able to come to Allie's birthday party and we were able to spend some time with them as well.

I went into the back room the other day and found Allie trying to get an apple out of the box. It was so funny, it reminded me of a little monkey with her hand caught in a trap.

We went to the fair last night and can you believe Allie's favorite animal was this HUGE cow!

Allie is really trying to crawl. She just can't wuite get all the way up.

She loves to clap, and loves to play with just about anything.

She also just got her first two teeth, and was very sick as they were coming in, but they both just popped through a few days ago.

Millcreek Canyon

We went to Millcreek canyon the other day with my parents. It was beautiful!

Cereal

The Doctor said it was time to start Allie on cereal.

So we gave it a try.

Yuck!!!

At first she just gagged and hated it, but after a while of trying little bits every day she will now eat a bowl of cereal and is getting very good at it!

Today has been her best day yet. She ate a bowl of cereal at lunch and then daddy fed her a bowl at dinner time, and she finished both and still had a smile on her face.

Yummy!!

Almost five months!!

Allie is now almost five months.
We took her in for her four month appointment and she now weighs
12 pounds 1.5 oz (20th percentile) and is
25 inches long (75th percentile)

She is such a sweet baby!

• She smiles and laughs all the time.
• She is very interested in everything and can hardly eat if anything is going on around her.
• She tries to hold her bottle as much as possible. It is so cute, she will pull it away and then wonder why we took her food away.
• She loves to try to talk. I love the cute little noises she makes.
• She wants to be standing as much as possble.
